Toyota crown key fob profile assignment issue

I'm having some trouble assigning my key fobs to their respective driver profiles. I've got two profiles set up and I want each fob to automatically recall its corresponding settings, but I'm running into a problem. I've carefully followed the instructions in the manual, but I'm not getting any confirmation. The manual states that I should hear a buzzer sound when the assignment is successful, but I'm getting absolutely no feedback not even a buzzer to indicate failure.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with their Crown? Have you found any workarounds or solutions?

Maybe try resetting both profiles and reprogramming the fobs from scratch, and check if a software update is available, sometimes that fixes key assignment issues.

I have no need for multiple profiles but I heard users end up going to dealer because there seems to be a problem connecting profiles. This is uncommon issue though. Not a lot of resources available.

You could also try giving your car's infotainment system a quick reset to shake out any bugs before you mess around with the profiles again. If that doesn't help, hitting up the dealer might be the move since it could be a software thing that requires a reset or update on their end.

those key fob to driver profile assignments can be a real pain when they don't play nice. No buzzer, huh? That's definitely weird. It sounds like either a software glitch or maybe a communication issue between the fobs and the car's system. Have you tried doing a full infotainment system reset? Sometimes that can clear out any lingering software bugs. If not it might be worth checking with your dealer to see if there's a software update available or if they've heard of similar issues.
