Black line on top of the nav screen

Hey guys! I have noticed that my nav screen gets a black line on top of it gets framed, or something (I don't know how exactly to describe it). The weird part is that I can notice it only in the night. What is the deal with it? It that a problem or something? Thanks!
 
I think this is how it's supposed to be. My screen does the same thing. If you look closely, the map itself fades to gray there too. It seems they've dimmed that part of the map so it doesn't clash with the time and other icons in the corner. Nothing unusual
 
Haven't run into that issue myself, but I do use Android Auto all the time. It could be something with the UI or how the map’s set up. I’ll take a peek later tonight and see if I can figure it out.
