Crown Repair Delays Due to Parts Shortage

Just a heads up for other Crown owners! getting parts might be a challenge. I had an unfortunate run-in with a deer that dented the entire right side of my Crown. Insurance was ready to cover it, but when I tried to order parts, I found out there’s no availability, and Toyota Corporate couldn’t give me any estimate on when they’d be in stock.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I love the car, but this parts shortage is frustrating. Be careful out there, and hopefully, we’ll see some updates on parts availability soon.

The parts shortage is really hitting hard, especially for newer models like the Crown. It’s good to hear insurance is ready to cover it, but waiting around with no ETA is definitely frustrating. I’d keep in touch with your dealership – sometimes they get last-minute updates or cancellations that could bump you up. I’ve heard Toyota is ramping up production, so maybe we’ll start seeing improvements soon. Might be worth a shot while you wait for official stock to come in. 🤷‍♂️
